Palliative Care Fund

The Palliative Care Services Program at YNHH is dedicated to the care and comfort of seriously ill patients and their families. Palliative Care focuses on symptom and pain management and quality of life issues for patients with complex, chronic or terminal illnesses at any stage of the illness. Palliative Care Services team works together with primary medical teams who are actively treating the underlying illness by providing and coordinating specialized physician, nursing, social work, and pastoral services. To improve patient care, Palliative Care Services is committed to the ongoing education and training of clinical care-givers.

The Palliative Care Fund supports patient services and education, staff education and other needs and expenses directly related to Palliative Care Services.
